Vertebral Subluxation Correction...Nothing More...Nothing Less...Nothing Else
Sara Cooper, DC2B at Northwestern Chiropractic College, was recently announced as the 2015 recipient of the Sylva Ashworth Scholarship.
The notification was made via a call placed live at the start of the Women in Chiropractic Jam Sessions recently at Sherman College’s annual Lyceum.
Scholarship Founder and seminar facilitator, Dr. Nalyn Marcus, enjoys informing the scholarship recipient in front of seminar attendees each year, as it creates positive energy for helping other women achieve their goals. The audience gets to chime in, cheering their congratulations. The eligibility for this $1,000 award is to be a chiropractic student and single mother. Started in 1998, the scholarship honors chiropractor and single mother, Dr. Sylva Ashworth, recognized as a ‘powerhouse’ in the profession and matriarch of the Cleveland family dynasty of chiropractors.
The IFCO has been the administrator for this award. Funds for the Ashworth scholarship have been generated through the sale of ceramic pins, cookbooks and donations. For more information please contact Dr. Marcus at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
